Job Details

Smartstream Technologies is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to support the quality and testing of the company’s various applications. Candidates must have strong analytical and communication skills and proven success in an agile environment. The candidate should be familiar with the software development lifecycle, all types of testing and continuous integration. 

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain existing automation systems
• Write new automated BDD tests for features
• Audit existing automation gaps
• Write new automation to cover existing test gaps
• Maintain CI systems for automation tests and databases
• Seek out flaky tests and stabilize them

• Understand Continuous Integration (such as teamcity, cruise control, Jenkins, Hudson)
• Regression, Acceptance Testing
• UI Testing, Web testing
• Experience with Software Development and Testing Lifecycles
• Defect management
• Sql exp (MS SQL Server, Oracle)
• Scripting experience (such as ruby, cucumber, vb script)
• Services/API experience
• C#, F#
• Unit testing (such as Nunit, Junit)
• Automation testing tools (such as Specflow, Selenium)

• Candidates must be eligible to work in the USA
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 2+ years of hands on QA experience in Manual and Automated testing
• Experience with Software Development and Testing Lifecycles

• Business Experience (banking, collateral)
• Performance Engineering experience
• Agile experience (extreme programming, scrum)
